Equivalence for ‘O’ level and ‘A’ level
If you have ‘O’ level and ‘A’ level qualifications, you need to obtain an Equivalence Certificate from the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC), Ministry of Education in Islamabad. This certificate helps convert your marks. Attach the Equivalence Certificate to your application. It’s crucial to have passed ‘A’ level in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Studies/Computer Sciences with grades A-C.
Hope Certificates
If you’ve passed FSC Part-I with at least 65% marks and are currently in FSC Part-II/Final Examination, you can apply using HOPE Certificates. These are provided by the Head of your institution. Remember to submit your FSC Part-II roll number and the name of the Education Board, along with a photocopy of the roll number slip, to General Headquarters (GHQ), Personnel Administration (PA) Directorate (PA-3b) in Rawalpindi. Ensure you submit your FSC final result cards/mark sheets within one week of the FSC Board results announcement, or you won’t be considered in the final merit.
Software Engineering & Computer Engineering
If you have an FSc or equivalent qualification with a combination of Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Studies or Computer Science, you can apply specifically for Software Engineering and Computer Engineering.
In-Eligibility Criteria
- Twice rejected or twice screen out by Inter Service Selection Board (ISSB)/ General Headquarters (GHQ)/ Naval Headquarters (NHQ)/ Air Headquarters (AHQ) Selection Board or once rejected by Inter Service Selection Board (ISSB) and once rejected by General Headquarters (GHQ)/ Naval Headquarters (NHQ)/ Air Headquarters (AHQ) Selection Board.
- Withdrawn/ discharged/ resigned or got commission from any Academy/ Training institution of Armed Forces on any ground. Withdrawn from any bonded Armed Forces college/ institution on disciplinary grounds.
- Dismissed/removed/debarred from Government Service including Armed Forces.
- Convicted in a Court of Law for any heinous offence (to be ascertained by the competent military authority).
- Permanently declared UNFIT by Appeal Medical Board (PUF by AMB). Declared unfit by any Armed Forces Hospital except those cleared by Appeal Medical Board. However, Pakistan Air Force candidates who become medically unfit for flying but fit for ground branches can undergo routine Medical Examination as normal candidates if they are desirous to join other arms.
- Declared medically unfit due to Hepatitis B & C (AMB cannot be requested).
- Withdrawn from any bonded Armed Forces college/ institution on disciplinary grounds. Withdrawn/ discharged/ resigned or purchase of commission from any Armed Forces officers Academy/ Training Institution on any ground.
- Diploma Holders.
- Those studying in any of the Armed Forces Institutions/ Academies or nominated against reserve defence quota seats/ studying as Paying Cadets in any of the Armed Forces Technical Colleges.
- Tested within four months (120 days) gap of previous appearance at Inter Services Selection Board except candidates granted waiver by the competent authority. However, bar of 120 days will not be applicable to candidates appearing for post graduate General Headquarters/ Naval Headquarters/ Air Headquarters based selection boards.
- Tempering of academic certificates/forgery/ concealment to get undue advantage will render to applicant permanently ineligible for all types of commission in Armed Forces.
TCC Pak Army Apply Online
To join Pak Army as a Regular Commissioned Officer through Technical Cadet Course 2024, follow these simple steps:

- Enter your details like name, father name, CNIC, marks etc.
- The test date will be assign to you after 72 hours.
- The online registration period is from December 18, 2023, to February 2, 2024.

Document Required
Candidates need to submit the following documents at Army Selection and Recruitment Centres (AS&RCs):
- Original Matric/FSc/Equivalent Certificate or Detailed Mark Sheet. For ‘O’ Level/’A’ Level, an Equivalence Certificate from IBCC is required.
- Attested photocopies of domicile, Family Registration Certificate, or NADRA verification certificate.
- Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) for those 18 years and above. For candidates under 18, provide Computerized Form “B” along with the CNIC of the Father or Guardian.
- One set of attested photocopies for all the mentioned documents.
- Three colored photographs attested by the Principal or a Class-1 Gazetted Officer (1 front & 2 back).
- For repeater candidates, the original and three photocopies of the Inter Service Selection Board (ISSB) “NOT RECOMMENDED” letter are also required.

For the academic test, students choose one subject from Chemistry or Computer. The ICS student will give Computer test and pre-engineering students will give Chemistry test.

Selection Process
Candidates who make it through the shortlisting process will be notified for ISSB tests via the website and call-up letters. Successful ISSB candidates will undergo a medical examination at nearby CMHs, and the final selection will be determined by General Headquarters (GHQ) based on overall performance. Discipline allocation will be merit-based and consider candidate preferences. The GHQ’s decision on discipline allotment is conclusive, and no requests for changes will be entertained.

Bond
Cadets are required to sign surety bond, to serve the Army for minimum 13 years on a E-Stamp paper worth Rs.100/- duly which will be countersigned by Magistrate/ Notary Public/ Oath Commissioner.

After 1 year training at Pakistan Military Academy, TCC 36 cadets will be awarded by the rank of captain.
