PMA Graduate Course offered by the Pak Army is a regular commission program that provides a fast track to the rank of captain. Pak Army Graduate course is announced once a year, typically in June, and is open to candidates with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (either 2 or 4 years). The training duration is one year at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA), divided into two terms. After training, cadets are awarded the rank of captain.

Pak Army Graduate Course Details

The eligibility criteria for the Pak Army Graduate Course are as follows:

• Candidates should be between 20 to 25 years old.
• The course is only open to male candidates.
• Candidates should be unmarried. However, married serving personnel of the armed forces over 20 years of age are also eligible
• Candidates should be Pakistani citizens.

The Pakistan Army has discontinued the Graduate Course, and there will be no further inductions through this program. The 38th Graduate Course was the last one, announced on June 15, 2018. There was no announcement for a 39th Graduate Course in 2019, and the Pakistan Army has not provided a reason for ending the program. Ineligibility Criteria

1. Candidates who have been twice rejected by ISSB.
2. Declared medically unfit by an Army hospital.
3. Withdrawn, resigned, or dismissed from any of the armed forces training academies/institutions on disciplinary grounds or on grounds of character, medical inefficiency, weak profile, or declared unsuitable.
4. Convicted by a court of law for an offense involving moral turpitude.
5. Candidates who do not meet the minimum educational requirements.
6. Candidates outside the specified age range of 20 to 25 years.
7. Non-Pakistani citizens or those without residency in Azad Kashmir or Gilgit-Baltistan.
8. Failing to meet the physical standards, including height and weight requirements.

PMA Graduate Course Online Apply

For the Pak Army Graduate Course, the online registration process is as follows:

1. Visit the official Join Pak Army website (www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk).
2. Navigate to the relevant section for the Graduate Course.
3. Fill out the online application form with all the required details, including personal information, educational qualifications, and any other necessary information.
4. Submit the form online.
5. After successful submission, you will receive a date and time for the initial test after 72 hours.
6. Print the registration slip for test.

Selection Procedure

Initial Test

The Pak Army initial test for Graduate Course is a written/intelligence test based on multiple-choice questions. This test is conducted at Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs). It contain both verbal and non verbal intelligence test. Physical & Medical Test

Pak Army graduate course physical & medical test typically includes a comprehensive medical examination to ensure that candidates meet the health and fitness standards required for military service. This examination usually assesses the following:

Candidates who are deemed medically unfit during this initial medical examination at the Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs) will not proceed further in the selection process. It is important for candidates to be in good physical and mental health to pass the medical test or physical test.

Initial Interview

The initial interview for the PMA Graduate Course, is a preliminary screening process that candidates undergo after passing the initial written test. The initial interview typically covers the following areas:

2. Original certificates/documents/detailed marks sheets along with two attested photocopies of each educational certificate/degree/diploma.
3. Attested photocopy of domicile (not necessary).
4. Photocopies of computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
   5 x colored photos.

Upon successful completion of the Graduate Course, candidates are commissioned as officers in the Pak Army, typically at the rank of Captain.
